This work was developed for The Climate Reality Project Brazil in partnership with the Brazil Climate Centre (CBC). Its main objective is to create an illustrative synthesis with the results of the research ‘Activism and Climate Education: A study on the profile of Brazilian climate activists and the impact of education on their formation’, carried out by The Climate Reality Project Brazil team. This study, which delves into the heart of climate activism in Brazil, offers an insight into who Brazilian climate activists are and how education shapes their trajectories and actions in favour of the climate.
The Climate Reality Project Brazil is the Brazilian branch of The Climate Reality Project, a global organisation created by former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore in 2006. The Brazil Climate Centre (CBC) is a think-and-do tank focused on disseminating knowledge, elaborating strategic actions, and engaging society to address the effects of climate change in an independent and non-partisan way.
This research promises to inspire educators, activists, and all those who are committed to the cause of climate change, representing a crucial step forward in our mission to raise awareness about climate change.
